Aceable Accelerates Push to Bring Driver’s Ed into the Future with Free Mobile Study Guides in 34 States

Creators of first state-approved driver’s ed app offers interactive driver’s ed lessons to teens and adults; easier now than ever before to prepare for written and behind-the-wheel exams

AUSTIN, Texas--()--Aceable, the mobile education platform, today launched free driver’s ed prep courses for teens and adults in 34 states. Aceable’s driver’s ed course is pending approval in several of those states, including Georgia and Nevada; in the rest, online driver’s ed is not yet permitted. The new offering from Aceable comes with state-specific study material, including 20 different levels and unlimited practice exams.

“Our free prep courses offer essentially the same learning experience as Aceable’s existing driver’s ed courses, although due to state regulation lagging behind in technology, completion does not fulfill permit or licensing requirements,” said Blake Garrett, Founder and CEO. “We’re very proud of our success thus far – Aceable has a state-approved driver’s ed app in five states with a 98% pass rate – which is why we’re dedicated to expanding our program in new markets. In the meantime, we want to help as many people as possible prepare.”

As education increasingly moves online, and a wealth of mobile platforms play a vital role in the process, these channels are desperately needed to engage teenagers and others as they approach this milestone. Aceable has long been ahead of the curve in this market with programs that build on text, videos, humorous content and interactive sessions, while being entertaining, customizable and highly convenient.

“We understand the challenges involved – this represents a big change in the way information is disseminated, and some regions are faster to adapt than others,” Garrett noted. “But we also know that a new generation of students is less inclined to absorb the same dry lecture or reading material, much of which hasn’t been updated in decades. That’s why we tailor our content to accommodate different learning styles, and allow students to access it in a way that’s unlike any previous approach to driver’s ed.”

Aceable’s free driver’s ed prep courses can be accessed through the Aceable app available for download on iTunes/Android Play Store or online at www.Aceable.com.
