FirstBank Southwest and FHLB Dallas to Present Small Business Grant

PAMPA, Texas--()--Representatives from FirstBank Southwest, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas), and the Pampa Economic Development Corporation will gather at Rivers Laundromat on Tuesday, November 29 at 1:00 p.m. for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and check presentation. The laundromat opened with the help of a loan from FirstBank Southwest that was funded by an Economic Development Program (EDP) advance from FHLB Dallas, and an accompanying $7,500 EDPPlus grant. The loan was used to install plumbing and electrical to accommodate the washers and dryers. The grant was used to update interior lighting and signage.

The event will take place at Rivers Laundromat at 210 East Brown Street in Pampa, Texas 79065. The media is encouraged to attend.

In 2016, FHLB Dallas has made available, through its members, $1 million in EDPPlus grants. The grants are awarded in conjunction with EDP advances, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis to promote and enhance small business development and job creation.
