Sacramento Press Club Hosts a Post-Election Breakdown with Two Expert Pollsters

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--()--It’s a Sacramento Press Club tradition and the hottest ticket in town: Join us as we welcome Mark DiCamillo of the Field Poll and Mark Baldassare of the Public Policy Institute of California as they discuss one of the most fascinating elections in recent memory. In addition to the surprising outcome of the presidential race, DiCamillo and Baldassare will break down California voters’ choices on the massive slate of hot-button ballot initiatives from legalizing recreational marijuana use to keeping the death penalty, banning plastic bags and restricting ammunition sales in the deep blue state. They’re expected to discuss competitive congressional and legislative results, and whether the presidential race played any role in California’s contested down-ticket races. Were California pollsters more accurate in their predictions than others around the country? Join the Sacramento Press Club on Nov. 16 as DiCamillo and Baldassare share their insights.
