ImmersaCAD VR Technology Premieres at Autodesk® University Las Vegas Conference

Experience provides full-volume navigation of immersive CAD visualization with a single touch

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. & LAS VEGAS--()--ImmersaCAD, a virtual reality startup, is releasing an intuitive CAD navigation system that brings CAD files to life through mobile VR technology, catering to architects, designers, engineers and other creatives. The company is inviting attendees to experience CAD projects in virtual reality with the opportunity to take home a demonstration on their own smartphone by stopping by the ImmersaCAD booth #1672 during the Autodesk University’s Las Vegas Conference, November 15-17 at the Venetian.

Booth visitors who register for a free 7-day trial will receive a free Google Cardboard and be entered to win a one-year ImmersaCAD subscription.

“Our holistic ImmersaCAD VR mobile app offers a valuable, realistic project experience which is truly incomparable to other CAD virtual reality options available today because it offers an untethered, mobile, 3D navigation experience,” said Jon Huber, chief technical officer for ImmersaCAD. “Attendees who visit with us at booth number 1672 can share their file and convert it on-site to explore the project in virtual reality while also discovering how they can use virtual reality to refine their daily workflow.”

The ImmersaCAD team will be available at booth number 1672 to show attendees the simplified CAD file conversion process as well as a range of thoughtful, innovative features. In addition, attendees can simply download the ImmersaCAD app, register for a free account, and they will receive a Google Cardboard gift at the ImmersaCAD booth.

The ImmersaCAD virtual reality system is completely compatible with a variety of CAD files (from Rhino, SketchUpPro, and other applications) as well as native Revit files. Additionally, it can incorporate Lumion exported materials to improve the visual quality of the VR experience.

Headquartered in Knoxville, Tenn., ImmersaCAD is perfecting CAD virtual reality through an easy-to-navigate system. The company’s patent-pending One-Touch Navigation® was specially designed to prevent motion sickness.

“This is such an exciting time of growth and progress for us as we start to clearly communicate just how easy it is to convert existing models into VR with the ImmersaCAD mobile app to nurture team collaboration while also serving clients a more compelling, realistic project experience,” said Huber. “We are completely reinventing the way clients and teams experience their design projects by integrating navigable VR effortlessly into their workflow.”

AU Las Vegas attendees can drop by the booth for a demo or reserve a training time and location by emailing Jon Huber at jon.huber@immersacad.com or by calling him at 865-321-8880 x110.
