CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--()--Cambridge BioMarketing, the world’s leading orphan and specialty communications agency, announced today the official opening of its West Coast office in Oakland, CA. Led by Managing Director Alyse Sukalski, the new location further strengthens Cambridge BioMarketing’s bi-coastal presence and better serves a growing portfolio of clients on the West Coast. The agency will invest extensively in talent acquisition and supporting resources across key functions and roles to help market transformative therapies uniquely designed for patients in high-need, unmet areas.

Headquartered in Cambridge, MA, Cambridge BioMarketing blends medical insights with award-winning creativity to design and execute emotionally engaging, impactful and inspiring campaigns that connect physicians, specialists, and patient communities. Through the Oakland office, the agency can further capitalize on rapid biotech growth in the Bay Area and better service the specialty pharma market and biopharmaceutical sectors.

“We are beyond thrilled to launch our new office on the West Coast, particularly in the vibrant, multicultural city of Oakland,” said Sukalski. “As our agency continues to expand, we’ve seen similar growth and revitalization in the Oakland market. We love Oakland and it fits our Cambridge-oriented personality and feel. With the regional economy growing and the biotech and pharma sectors witnessing continued investment, Cambridge BioMarketing is well positioned to serve the dynamic needs of our current and future clients on the West Coast.”

Alyse Sukalski brings more than 15 years of agency leadership experience to Cambridge BioMarketing. As managing director, Alyse will oversee key personnel hires, strategic planning, and agency operations, as well as build out a diverse full service agency team. Her previous roles include managing partner and senior vice president of operations at pharma advertising companies, where she led creative strategy and oversaw company-wide operations. Prior to that, Alyse held account management, strategy, and creative positions at leading healthcare agencies.

“With offices in Cambridge and the Bay Area we now find ourselves squarely in the two biotech capitols of the country,” said Maureen Franco, CEO, Cambridge BioMarketing. “We are thrilled to put down roots in Oakland and continue to deliver insight-driven, emotionally compelling, and creatively-oriented campaigns for our partner clients. Our expanded footprint marks the next chapter in our journey.”

The agency is hosting an open house this evening for clients, prospects, prospective employees, and the local community to celebrate the official launch of the Oakland office, which is located at The Rotunda Building, 300 Frank H Ogawa Plaza, Suite 12.
