LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kano, the London-based creative computing company, has surpassed its $500,000 funding goal on Kickstarter for the manufacturing and production of its new creative computing system, which includes the Camera Kit ($129.99), Pixel Kit ($129.99), Speaker Kit ($129.99), and a new way to code them called Kano Code.
“Kano’s global community of makers, technologists, teachers and beginner-level coders from 86 countries continues to drive our mission to be the first-ever end to end computing platform for all ages,” said Alex Klein, the co-founder and CEO of Kano. “We are overwhelmed by the positive response to our new computing system, and look forward to bringing physical and digital creative computing concepts to even more people around the world.”

Kano’s original Computer Kit for all ages became one of the top funded educational products launched on Kickstarter. The current campaign will end on October 27 at 11am ET/4pm BST, with The Pixel Kit being the first product to ship in January 2017.
