NORTHUMBERLAND, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Keystone Insurers Group (Keystone), one of the nation’s largest property and casualty insurance brokers, today announced the appointment of Melanie Rachau of Sunbury as director of sales for its property and casualty department.
“Melanie is well known by Keystone agents and carriers as the ‘go-to’ person for specialty program knowledge and assistance,” said Brian Brusoski, Keystone’s senior vice president of property and casualty. “The relationships she has forged during her tenure will play an essential role as she broadens our property and casualty reach while, at the same time, serving the needs of our partner agents and carriers.”
Brusoski said Rachau will lead the education and sales development efforts of Keystone’s newly restructured property and casualty department. Her primary responsibilities will be to effectively communicate the company’s offering and to assist agents in the development of both strategic and marketing plans for new business opportunities.
Rachau holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Pittsburgh. She began her career with Keystone in 2004 and most recently served as operations manager & liaison.
