CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nuveen, an operating division of TIAA Global Asset Management, today announced the launch of the Nuveen NWQ Diversified Income Portfolio, a registered unit investment trust. In an effort to address the need to find income in today’s low-yield environment, the portfolio seeks to look beyond traditional sources of income by investing across the capital structure in a broad and flexible range of income producing securities which may help mitigate risk and potentially increase overall portfolio yield.
The trust seeks to achieve its investment objective by constructing a multi-asset class portfolio of U.S. and non-U.S. securities NWQ believes to be undervalued and have the prospect to provide attractive yield with reduced sensitivity to downside equity market movements.
The launch of the Nuveen NWQ Diversified Income Portfolio reinforces Nuveen’s commitment to providing investors new and innovative portfolio strategies to meet their financial needs.
