FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kobi Electric, a leading commercial and industrial energy efficient lighting manufacturer, has reinforced its reputation for delivering high quality products at value pricing with an updated line of LED troffers immediately available to electrical distributors and their customers.
The lay-in commercial fixtures feature 0-10 volt dimming and are available in multiple styles and sizes, including economy panel, single lens volumetric, dual lens volumetric and high lumen Deluxe Panel Troffer. All of Kobi’s troffers are compliant with the Design Lights Consortium 4.0 standard that was released earlier this year, and the company has committed to a stocking program intended to rapidly channel the products into the marketplace through electrical distributors.
“We know that we have developed an excellent line of troffers that is priced extremely competitively for this market, and our goal is to make sure electrical distributors know that these products are available for their customers,” said Kobi president Nicholas Peragine. “From a cost and performance standpoint, we know these fixtures are ideal for both new construction, retrofits and remodels. The lumens per watt has increased, the CRI is stronger and we’ve been able to pass along a cost reduction in production to our customers.”
The Economy Panel Troffer is designed with strips of LEDs inside the fixtures that mimic the linear look of fluorescent bulbs, while the Deluxe Panel Troffer offers a full, balanced light output and is available in frosted or opalescent panels. Both are all-in-one replacements for fluorescent tubes, ballasts and fixtures and, like all of the Kobi Electric troffers, both the Economy and Deluxe offer superior lighting and long lifetimes for offices, schools, hospitals, retail outlets or any other application where fluorescent lighting would typically be used.
The Single Lens and Dual Lens Volumetric Troffer both provide a permanent, long lasting all-in-one energy-efficient fixture that offers an updated look that improves upon the appearance of a conventional fluorescent fixture. The LEDs and drivers are integrated into the fixture, and the fixture contains no lamps that require replacement.
“We are extremely proud of what our in-house engineering and design teams have been able to create,” Peragine said. “We believe we have taken commercial and industrial LED lighting a step forward with the introduction and production of these cost effective fixtures. We are excited to get them into the hands of electrical distributors so that customers can begin realizing the advantages and benefits of the products.
