FORT WORTH, Texas--()--Elevate proudly announced today that it has earned a place among the country's Best Medium Workplaces recently announced by Great Place to Work® and Fortune, ranking at number 93 on the list. This award follows the company’s certification as a great place to work in July, 2016.

“We are incredibly honored to be named as one of the best workplaces in the country. Our upbeat and innovative culture is integral to the success of our company and our employees. Our mission-driven focus – helping underserved consumers get immediate financial relief and improving their financial futures – gives us all great pride in what we do. And our employees’ commitment to our core values: Think Big, Do the Right Thing, Raise the Bar, and Win Together, has remained constant through our rapid growth from a start-up to over 500 employees in the last two years and has been essential to this achievement. We are dedicated to staying focused on our values and mission as we continue to grow,” said Ken Rees, CEO of Elevate.

“There’s a generosity of spirit that infuses the Best Medium Workplaces—one that has a measurable return,” said Kim Peters, Executive Vice President of Great Place to Work®. “Whether it’s funding employee ‘passion projects’ or giving surprise gifts to customers, the best workplaces give it away. And they get it back in the form of inspired people who innovate harder and generate higher revenue.”

“Nurturing a ‘best workplace’ requires that we all let loose and have fun from time to time. Our family events and quarterly, themed-based town halls are a great example of how this concept has taken on a life of its own at Elevate. In our town halls, we not only cover business and HR updates, but infuse the process with trivia where employees can win prizes, all while executives and employees alike are dressed up according to the theme of the event. It’s a time for us to come together, and to learn and connect with each other,” said Sharon Clarey, Chief Human Resources Officer at Elevate.

“It’s moments like these, coupled with everyday managerial involvement and employee empowerment that makes us a great place to work,” added Ms. Clarey.

To celebrate being named to the Best Medium Workplaces list, Elevate will be hosting a fun-filled employee event in the coming weeks.

The Best Medium Workplaces is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work® and Fortune based upon employee survey feedback from Great Place to Work–CertifiedTM organizations.

Elevate won this accolade based on employees' anonymous responses to an extensive survey about their levels of trust, pride and camaraderie at work. Among other findings, the study found that trust fuels business performance, and the fact that the Best Medium Workplaces enjoy roughly three times the revenue growth of their peers, even as they provide a better experience for their people, is proof positive.

About The Best Medium Workplaces:

Published together with our partner, Fortune, the Best Medium Workplaces rankings are based entirely upon feedback from more than 52,000 employees at Great Place to Work–CertifiedTM companies. Employees completed our anonymous Trust Index© survey, answering questions about how frequently they experience the behaviors that create a great workplace, including, for example, their assessment of the honesty and quality of communication by managers, degree of support for employees' personal and professional lives and the authenticity of relationships with colleagues.

Results from the survey are highly reliable, having a 95% confidence level and a margin of error of 5% or less. Winning a spot on this list indicates the company has distinguished itself from peers by creating a great place to work for all – not only do the majority of their employees experience the company as a great place to work, but this experience is consistent across the organization, regardless of gender, race/ethnicity, job role, or other personal characteristics. The companies with the highest employee ratings compared with organizations of the same complexity in size and scope were selected for the list. Companies between 100 and 999 employees compete for placement on the 100 Best Medium Workplaces list.
