HUDSON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, the leading fabric and craft specialty retailer, welcomes Michael Goulder to the company in the role of senior vice president, inventory management and supply chain. In this position, Goulder will report directly to Jill Soltau, president and chief executive officer, Jo-Ann Stores.

Goulder comes to Jo-Ann from McKinsey & Company, where he led the firm’s North American consumer supply chain practice. He served a variety of clients with supply chain strategies, end-to-end planning and inventory management.
As senior vice president, operations at American Greetings, Goulder successfully led the supply chain business for 11 years and is credited with building the company’s first replenishment system. Prior to American Greetings, Goulder was a Partner at Booz & Company and held engineering and distribution roles at IBM.
Goulder holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
