The two innovative EmStone strategies combine traditional fixed income investments and a collective investment fund investing in marketplace lending notes generated by online lending platforms. “The traditional fixed income portfolio seeks to provide stability and liquidity, while the marketplace lending fund seeks to provide an enhanced yield,” said portfolio manager Steven E. The initial client account marked its first anniversary invested in the enhanced strategies in July, 2016, and the strategies have grown to over $68 million in assets invested by several public pension funds as of September 30, 2016.
