  • Dr. Howard Baum is a leading endocrinologist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he specializes in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism. In April 2016, he was elected vice president (physician-in-practice) of The Endocrine Society which has an international membership of more than 18,000 researchers and practitioners from more than 120 countries, dedicated to improving clinical knowledge and practices for all endocrine disorders.
  • Dr. David D’Alessio is Professor of Medicine at Duke University, Director of the Division of Endocrinology, and a staff physician at the Durham VA Medical Center. Dr D’Alessio has a primary research interest in the regulation of glucose tolerance and abnormalities that lead to type 2 diabetes.
  • Dr. Michael H. Davidson is a nationally recognized expert on statins, novel lipid-lowering drugs and the reduction of coronary artery disease risk through diet and exercise. A prolific researcher, author and lecturer on lipid disorders, nutrition, and atherosclerosis, he specializes in heart disease prevention and has published more than 250 articles for leading medical journals and has written three books on Lipidology. He currently serves as president of the National Lipid Association.
  • Dr. Maulik Majmudar is a practicing cardiologist and Associate Director of the Healthcare Transformation Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital, an Instructor at Harvard Medical School, and a lecturer in the Harvard-MIT HST Program. An active member of the healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship community with a specific interest in technology-enabled healthcare innovation, he was a founding member and chief clinical officer of Quanttus, Inc. a venture-backed medical wearables startup.
  • Dr. David B. Nash is a board certified internist who is internationally recognized for his work in public accountability for outcomes, physician leadership development, and quality-of-care improvement. He is the Founding Dean of the Jefferson School of Population Health (now the Jefferson College of Population Health) and has authored more than 100 articles in major peer-reviewed journals and has edited 23 books. Currently, he is Editor-in-Chief of four national journals including American Journal of Medical Quality, Population Health Management, P&T, and American Health and Drug Benefits (AHDB).
  • Dr. Anderson Spickard, III is Assistant Dean of Education Design and Technology and Associate Professor of Medicine in the Departments of Medicine and Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. An active practitioner in Internal Medicine and known for his innovative approaches to medical education and curriculum design, he has won multiple local and national teaching awards and has served on numerous national committees. His published work focuses on the effective use of informatics technology in medical education.

Members of the Clinical Advisory Board use their ongoing expertise and knowledge in their respective fields to advise Edumedics on the current state of management of relevant chronic conditions; care protocols; new testing, technology and guidelines; digital innovation and care in the home; electronic health records; analytics and reporting; and education to medical students, physicians and ARNPs. Edumedics’ Co-Founder Dr. Richard Goldstein and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Mike Harper also serve on the Clinical Advisory Board.
