SOLON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tarkett, the worldwide leader in innovative and sustainable flooring and sports surface solutions, announced today that two of their product collections have received the GreenCircle Material Ingredient LEED v4 Compliance certification. Tarkett is the first company in the flooring industry to receive this certification. As part of Tarkett’s continued efforts for transparency and material health, the products, Tandus Centiva Victory® Series Luxury Vinyl Tile and Johnsonite iQ homogenous flooring, have gone through a rigorous third party audit process to achieve certification.
In conjunction with Tarkett’s recently announced Material Health Statement assessment, the GreenCircle certification is conducted in compliance with Clean Production Action’s How to Use Greenscreen to Contribute to LEED v4 document and the USGBC’s LEED Rating System requirements. “GreenCircle is excited to certify Tarkett as an industry leader in the Material Ingredient Reporting space.
