NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Post Acute Recovery (“PAR”), a premier outpatient addiction recovery network, met with White House staff in Washington, D.C. last week to discuss addiction and mental health issues impacting the veteran and LGBT communities. In attendance were Obama Administration officials as well as the leadership teams of Post Acute Recovery, who presented PAR’s plan to address these major issues.
“It was an honor and pleasure to meet with the White House and discuss the issues impacting the veteran and LGBT communities,” said Eric Frieman, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Post Acute Recovery. “The current election campaign has highlighted the urgent bipartisan support for increased access to and quality of addiction and mental health treatment programs, especially for veterans, LGBT and other groups. We discussed PAR’s plans to address these issues, including PAR’s population-specific addiction and mental health programming designed to best serve certain populations and achieve successful, long-term recovery.”
PAR’s structured outpatient treatment program is setting a new standard of care in the addiction treatment industry by redefining the continuum of care and providing the quality of care normally found in a higher-acuity treatment setting at a cost that is significantly lower.
About Post Acute Recovery
Post Acute Recovery (PAR) was founded to become the premier provider of high-quality, cost-effective, outcome-based outpatient addiction and behavioral health treatment in the United States. PAR is dedicated to increasing the access to and quality of addiction treatment for individuals to achieve successful, long-term recovery.
Post Acute Recovery’s structured outpatient treatment program is setting a new standard of care in the addiction treatment industry by redefining the continuum of care and providing the quality of care normally found in a higher-acuity treatment setting at a cost that is significantly lower.
Further, PAR’s structured outpatient program allows patients to recover through coordinated, collaborative treatment and recovery resources within the community, making reintegration into the “real world” a primary goal of treatment.
By providing continuous support and case management to patients across the full continuum of care, PAR coordinates and delivers high-quality care at the appropriate level and at the lowest cost.
