Pepperdine Graziadio Online MBA Grabs #18 Spot in The Princeton Review 2017 Rankings

MALIBU, Calif.--()--Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management is proud to announce that its Online MBA program ranks number 18 on The Princeton Review’s 2017 second annual business school list of the Top 25 “Best Online MBA Programs.”

The Pepperdine Graziadio Online MBA—the only program from California to be selected—has received broad recognition since launching in 2013. In 2016, U.S. News & World Report ranked the Graziadio Online MBA program number 15 on the list of “Best Online MBA Programs” and number 13 on the list of “Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans.”

“Our Online MBA embodies the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of the Graziadio School and we are thrilled that our programs continue to be ranked by respected sources such as The Princeton Review,” says David M. Smith, dean at Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management and Online MBA professor. “At Graziadio, we intentionally designed our Online MBA program for students who pursue a greater purpose for themselves and for their respective organizations.”

The Online MBA at the Graziadio School is an academically rigorous, highly flexible program designed to complement the busy and fast-paced lives of students. This customizable degree enables busy professionals to balance their career and home life while pursuing aspirations. Online MBA courses are taught by distinguished faculty and internationally recognized business practitioners who train students in becoming values-centered leaders with an understanding of both corporate responsibility and profitability.

The Online MBA program features the award-winning Education-to-Business component, in which students work in competing teams to solve multifaceted, real-life business challenges presented by pre-selected companies ranging from global powerhouses and regional brands to entrepreneurial start-ups. The Online MBA also offers students an opportunity to study abroad and gain a global business perspective. Students can pursue a general MBA or choose from one of four concentrations: finance, marketing, general management, and leadership.

The Princeton Review’s Online MBA rankings, created in partnership with Entrepreneur magazine, are based on surveys of more than 90 business schools offering online MBAs, plus surveys of over 3,800 students enrolled in the programs. The rankings are available online and will be published in the October issue of Entrepreneur.

According to The Princeton Review, the survey methodology and ranking criteria were based on input from editors of its annual “Best 295 Business Schools” guidebook, and an advisory board of administrators at several of the nation's leading online MBA programs. The criteria focused on five core areas: academics, selectivity, faculty, technical platforms, and career outcomes. Data points were weighted in more than 60 unique fields to determine the final ranking.
