NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Angelo, Gordon & Co., the New York-based alternative investment firm, today announced that Damien Loveday is joining the Firm as Managing Director, Investor Relations. At Angelo Gordon, he will be responsible for enhancing and expanding the Firm’s institutional relationships in the EMEA region. Previously, Mr. Loveday was Global Head of Diversifying Strategies for Willis Towers Watson. Mr. Loveday will be based in London and report to Gareth Henry, Managing Director and Global Head of Investor Relations.

Before joining Angelo, Gordon, Mr. Loveday worked at Willis Towers Watson for nearly a decade, where he was most recently Global Head of Diversifying Strategies. Earlier in his career at the company, he served as Global Head of Hedge Fund Manager Research, Head of Fixed Income Hedge Fund Manager Research and Senior Researcher of Fixed Income strategies. Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson in 2006, Mr. Loveday was a Senior Researcher for the Royal Bank of Scotland and was awarded a CFA Charterholder in 2004. He graduated with Honors from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a BSc in Accounting and Finance.
