ROSWELL, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Imerys Carbonates North America announces a price increase for its calcium carbonate products. The increase is effective as of December 1, 2016 and is subject to any provisions in individual contracts. Prices will increase an average of 2 to 10 percent depending upon product grade and packaging.
The price increase supports a portion of the rising costs of mining and processing despite Imerys’ operational excellence programs to improve efficiencies in its operations. In addition, Imerys continues to invest in higher product quality, consistency, and innovation for customers through reliability and excellence development initiatives.
