Lifetime Guarantee gives consumers added peace of mind when making a 2016 Samsung TV purchase

RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J.--()--Samsung Electronics America, Inc., the number one TV manufacturer worldwide for the past 10 years, today unveils a lifetime guarantee that covers TV screen burn-in for its entire line up of 2016 SUHD Quantum Dot TVs purchased in the United States. In the event of burn-in, Samsung guarantees to either repair or replace any 2016 SUHD Quantum Dot TV with a similar model at no cost for the life of the television.1

Burn-in is a permanent defect in areas of a TV display that can be caused by cumulative effects of displaying the same image or scene for long periods of time, sometimes even as little as one hour.

The lifetime TV screen anti-burn-in guarantee SUHD TVs applies to consumers who purchase a 2016 SUHD Quantum dot “8” or “9” series TV in the U.S.
