SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SmartDeploy, a leading provider of IT management software for endpoint provisioning, Windows migration and IT break-fix, is gaining momentum with a near-record-breaking quarter of 31.3 percent revenue growth in Q2 2016 and a continuing upward trend in both customer and licensing numbers. In addition to SmartDeploy’s critical competitive advantages of speed and ease-of-use in image deployment, the company credits enterprise IT’s increasing migration towards Windows 10, as well as changing hardware trends, as contributors to its growth in 2016.
Following an impressive 14.3 percent quarter-over-quarter growth in revenue in Q1 this year, SmartDeploy saw an 8.5 percent growth in customers for this quarter, including Jimmy John’s, Dairy Farmers of America, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. These figures are the latest signs of SmartDeploy’s building momentum, with license sales per quarter increasing by over 170 percent and customer numbers increasing by 47 percent in the 18 months since Q1 2015.
One of SmartDeploy’s biggest advantages is its speed, allowing users to deploy images in as little as 36 minutes, beating competitive offerings from Symantec and Acronis by up to 67 percent. This critical advantage has been magnified in 2016 as organizations look to efficiently migrate their hardware en masse to Windows 10, necessitating greater efficiency in image deployment. This, combined with the solution’s ease of use, has made SmartDeploy the software of choice for many enterprise IT teams embarking on migrations that would otherwise be highly taxing on time and resources.
The company also credits the near-record growth to a shift in hardware trends, as manufacturers increase the release frequency of new models making it difficult for organizations to standardize hardware. Unlike other solutions, SmartDeploy does not require new images to be created for specific hardware models. This means that enterprise IT can create one ‘golden image’ that can be deployed across multiple generations of hardware throughout their organizations, allowing for greater flexibility in hardware choice and reducing the need to purchase, store, and maintain redundant ‘master image’ computers for each iteration of hardware.
SmartDeploy’s advantages are backed up not only by strong growth figures but also by impressive customer survey data. A 2016 customer survey shows 96 percent of SmartDeploy customers very or extremely likely to recommend its services to other IT professionals, and 92 percent of customers rating the solution as ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’.
“Our exceptional growth figures and continuing trend of customer acquisition show that SmartDeploy has built impressive momentum so far in 2016,” said Aaron Suzuki, CEO of SmartDeploy. “The PC remains the most productive tool at work, so businesses need a fast and simple way to land and refresh machines. Our performance in the market and our consistent, overwhelmingly positive customer feedback tell us that SmartDeploy is the best way to respond to the dual challenges of increasing complexity and cost intolerance associated with this very complicated job. We will continue to make customers successful by providing the new capabilities they want and the support expertise they expect.”
