POTTERY BARN KIDS AND PBTEEN DESIGN NEW COLLECTIONS TO BENEFIT ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION ORGANIZATION, WORLD WILDLIFE FUND

Exclusively designed backpacks, lunch bags, costumes and accessories give back to World Wildlife Fund

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen, members of the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (NYSE:WSM) portfolio of brands, launched a new product collection inspired by endangered species, to benefit World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organizations,. For each item in the collection sold, Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen will donate 5% of the purchase price to WWF, with a minimum donation of $100,000, to help stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment.

The collection, available at Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen, features playful animal patterns in the spirit of WWF’s dedication to serving the environment. To bring awareness to endangered species, the brands’ San Francisco-based design teams created a variety of prints featuring rhinos, pandas, elephants and tigers for backpacks, lunch bags and water bottles. The imaginative WWF costumes for kids, including the Endangered South China Tiger, Endangered Black Rhino, Endangered Orangutan and Endangered Panda, focus on the details that make each animal special for Halloween or everyday playtime. For teens, the WWF collection features backpacks and lunch bags with a stylish leopard pattern and playful critter panda and koala shapes.

“We are passionate about furthering environmental conservation through our partnership with World Wildlife Fund,” said Jennifer Kellor, executive vice president merchandising, PBteen and Pottery Barn Kids. “The partnership allows us to create thoughtfully designed pieces and donate a portion of proceeds toward combating climate change, saving endangered animals and protecting wild habitats.”

“Creative collaborations are essential in both raising awareness and providing valuable resources to achieve lasting conservation," said Terry Macko, senior vice president, marketing and communications, World Wildlife Fund. "The launch of the Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen endangered species collection will help further our efforts to protect the planet, while inspiring a new generation of conservationists.”

The complete collections are now available online and at select Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen stores nationwide. Each WWF product is marked with the signature WWF Panda logo.
