SAN MATEO, Calif.--()--Alfresco Software, the leading open-source provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Business Process Management (BPM) solutions, and Armedia LLC, an award-winning provider of information technology solutions, today announced they are co-sponsoring Digital Government Institute’s (DGI) 930gov Conference. The conference will be held August 24, 2016 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. Alfresco and Armedia will be in booth #402 demonstrating the new security features of Alfresco Records Management module and Armedia’s ArkCase.

Unifying Records & Information Management

The DGI 930gov is the end-of-year learning exchange for government IT, management, and acquisition professionals and where government technical communities gather to finalize year-end strategic buying decisions. The conference will feature five concurrent tracks including one on Records Management where Mark Patrick, Chief, Information Management Division, Joint Staff Secretariat will be presenting, “Holistic Records Management: Managing Your Organizational Data,” a session discussing records management as a subset of a holistic approach to managing all of an organization’s data. Patrick will draw comparisons between the Joint Staff’s journey with that of other agencies and government organizations making this a highly impactful session for information, records, knowledge, IT and legal professionals alike.

“Whether electronic, paper, or resident in the minds of its employees, an organization’s business information must be instantaneously accessible so senior leaders can make data-driven decisions at the speed their jobs require,” said Austin Adams, vice president, public sector at Alfresco. “We are thrilled to be sponsoring the Records Management track at 930gov.”
