TOLEDO, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hylant, one of the nation's largest privately owned insurance brokerage firms, has promoted Doug Miller to Vice President, Executive Risk Practice Leader. Doug assumes the Executive Risk Practice group leadership from Jim Lash, who was recently named the president of the Cincinnati office.

Doug brings almost 25 years of invaluable experience working in areas of coverage analysis, financial risk modeling and acquisition due diligence. In addition to serving many Fortune 500, middle-market, public, private and nonprofit companies with their management liability insurance needs, Doug is considered an industry expert, having been published and quoted in Business Insurance, Crittenden Research and National Underwriter, among others. He is also a frequent panelist and presenter on executive risk-related topics and coverage.
Doug received his bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, and has done graduate work at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
