SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Giant Creative/Strategy, LLC, the largest full-service independent healthcare communications agency on the West Coast, welcomed back industry expert Eric Steckelman as Chief Growth Officer. In this newly created role, Steckelman oversees the company’s business development, client services, and core strategic functions.
Giant established the CGO position with a keen eye to a future that moves beyond the traditional functional and departmental structures. Steckelman will help deliver a unique value proposition to current and potential clients as Giant continues to drive cross-channel marketing advancements within the industry. Steckelman previously was Senior Vice President, Managing Director at Giant from 2012 – 2015.
“The Chief Growth Officer role lets me focus on untapped markets to discover new pathways of growth. We’ll be looking at value drivers especially with healthcare’s ever-complex and changing regulatory frame work,” Steckelman said. “This opportunity also allows me to leverage more than 20-plus years of experience from the viewpoint of the provider, client, healthcare agency, and, most recently, healthcare technology, to enable growth through existing and prospective channels.”
Until now, Steckelman was SVP, Patient Experience at healthcare start-up HealthLoop in Silicon Valley. He concentrated on growing and leading a patient experience group and content team to offer better service to providers. In addition, Steckelman, who is a trained physician assistant, was an SVP at FCB and a VP at Medical Knowledge Group. Steckelman also worked with Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in a global medical and marketing capacity.
