KENT, Wash.--()--Holman Distribution, a Seattle/Tacoma-based Third-Party Logistics (3PL) firm with warehousing and trucking operations across the United States, has recently been named among the Top 100 3PL Providers for 2016 by logistics trade publication Inbound Logistics.

Inbound Logistics’ perennial list of the Top 100 3PL’s is a veritable “Who’s Who” of logistics companies, consisting of firms who provide logistics services such as warehousing, transportation, freight forwarding/brokering, and fulfillment.

Despite Holman notching consistent 10% growth for each of the past four years, Vice President Brien Downie says growth is merely a byproduct of Holman’s mission to be the best provider for their existing customers.

“Our goal is not to be the biggest Third-Party Logistics provider around; there are plenty of options for customers that want a big, publicly-traded 3PL to handle their product,” says Mr. Downie. “We aim to be the top-ranked provider in each of our customer’s networks. As we continue to succeed in that mission, our customers reward us with more business.”

Holman-operated distribution centers for clients like Kimberly-Clark, GE Appliances, and Hill’s Pet Nutrition are top-ranked by customer scorecards, claimed Mr. Downie. “Looking at metrics across the board: From KPI’s in productivity to safety and cost, Holman consistently outperforms the competition both large and small.”

Felecia Stratton, editor of Inbound Logistics details why Holman was chosen for the honor. “It remains an increasingly difficult task for the Inbound Logistics editorial team to narrow down the list to only 100 top 3PL providers. Holman Distribution was selected as a Top 100 3PL Provider because its solutions solve specific logistics challenges, improve processes, and create a ripple effect of efficiencies for our readers across their entire value chain.”

Holman looks forward to continued growth in all phases of business for 2016 and ‘17, opening public warehousing operations in the Greenville, SC area, in addition to expanding with both new and existing customers in contract logistics operations.
