KINCARDINE, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Norm MacArthur, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Superheat FGH announced today the appointment of Darryl G. Schimeck as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. In this new position, Schimeck will have overall responsibility for Superheat’s field operations across thirty locations in North America.

Schimeck brings over 30 years of industrial services experience to Superheat, including senior executive positions at Veolia Industrial Services, The Brock Group, The Brand Companies, and Waste Management, Inc. Most recently, he was CEO of Optimer Brands, maker of DRIFIRE high performance flame resistant garments, which was sold to National Safety Apparel on May 31, 2016. He has served on Superheat’s Advisory Board since 2014.
Schimeck holds a B.A. in Economics from Alma College where he serves on the Board of Trustees. He is Chairman Emeritus and a Director at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls in Chicago, IL.
