UANI Unveils JCPOA Resource Center, New Video to Highlight Risks on One-Year Anniversary of Iran Nuclear Deal

Group to co-host July 12 Capitol Hill briefing in addition to release of digital, video resources throughout the week

NEW YORK--()--United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) is releasing a series of new web-based resources and a new video on the one-year anniversary of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). UANI’s resources underscore the severe danger and risks that the Iranian regime poses to the global community.

Today, UANI launched a new resource center on its website—JCPOA: Year-in-Review—which catalogs the Iranian regime’s ongoing extremist and violent behavior since the signing of the nuclear deal on July 14, 2015. The year-in-review provides timelines of developments and incidents across a host of different themes, including Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs, state-sponsored terrorism, anti-Americanism and human rights abuses.

In addition, a new UANI video will premiere on Thursday, July 14, the first anniversary of the nuclear deal signing. The video, which focuses on the global business community and encapsulates many of the components of UANI’s Business Risk Matrix, will run nationally on cable television. UANI is in the midst of a global awareness and education campaign focused on the myriad risks of doing business with Iran.

UANI will also co-host a Hill briefing on Tuesday, July 12, in Washington, DC with the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs’ Gemunder Center for Defense and Strategy. The event will feature keynote addresses from Representatives Ed Royce (R-CA), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Juan Vargas (D-CA). In addition, the event will feature a panel discussion with UANI Chairman and former U.S. Senator Joseph I. Lieberman, Aaron David Miller of the Wilson Center, and Ray Takeyh of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of UANI’s advisory board.
