AARP Foundation, SPEEA Plan Press Conference 10 a.m., Monday (July 11)

WICHITA, Kan.--()--AARP Foundation Litigation (AFL) and the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA), IFPTE Local 2001, will hold a press conference at 10 a.m., Monday, July 11, to make a significant announcement related to an investigation of employees laid off in 2013 by Spirit AeroSystems, Inc.

The press conference will take place at the SPEEA Midwest office, located in the lower part of the Parklane Shopping Center, 973 S. Glendale Street, Wichita.

Attorneys for AARP Foundation Litigation, SPEEA legal counsel and staff, along with a number of the impacted employees will attend.

AARP Foundation has been working with legal counsel for the former employees of Spirit who filed charges of age discrimination against Spirit on behalf of union-represented employees.
