Global Employment and Labor Partner Joins Norton Rose Fulbright in New York

NEW YORK--()--Norton Rose Fulbright today announced that Brian Arbetter, an international employment and labor lawyer with more than 25 years of experience, has joined the global law firm’s New York office as a partner.

Arbetter comes to Norton Rose Fulbright from Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP. He represents US- and foreign-based multinational companies and their management teams across a wide range of industries, including financial services, technology, retail, entertainment and medical devices.

Arbetter’s employment matters include inbound and outbound employment, labor, benefits, and mobility issues and strategies, including global compliance, workplace privacy, discrimination and harassment, leaves of absence and disabilities, unions and works councils, reductions in force, and hiring and employment agreements. He also advises clients on ERISA, benefits, affirmative action and health and safety matters, as well as employment law aspects of mergers and acquisitions and entry and exit into and out of various countries.
