SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zenger Folkman is expanding its offerings for the award winning workshop, The Extraordinary Coach. Newly released is a series of sustainment tools called Skill Accelerators for The Extraordinary Coach. These modules are focused learning experiences used to revisit and expand leadership skills.
“The FUEL framework, taught in The Extraordinary Coach, is an effective tool for having coaching conversations that produce results,” said Joe Folkman, President of Zenger Folkman. “Leaders can use FUEL in many situations beyond just one on one coaching sessions. We developed these short sessions to help leaders understand how this framework can be used in different ways.”
Coaching is a critical skill for all leaders and takes considerable time, training and practice to master. Each ZF skill accelerator only takes about 90 minutes to complete and covers topics such as:
- Navigating Change
- Having Effective Performance Appraisals
- Valuing Employees
- Ongoing Coaching and Feedback
- Building Powerful Development Plans
Practice is the best way to become a great coach, and these short sessions are the perfect way to help leaders stay focused and continually improving their coaching abilities.
“Just because someone hands you keys and a license doesn’t make you a great driver. Likewise, when you receive a promotion to manage people it doesn’t automatically make you a good coach,” said Jack Zenger, CEO of Zenger Folkman. “Effective coaches have a profound impact on individuals, teams and organizations. These learning modules help leaders become extraordinary coaches.”
Zenger Folkman is the authority in strengths-based leadership development. Their award-winning programs employ research-based methods that improve organizations and turn good managers into extraordinary leaders.
