Kevin Boyce Named Private Company CFO of the Year

Ellucian's Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer Honored by the Northern Virginia Technology Council

FAIRFAX, Va.--()--Ellucian, the leading global provider for higher education software and services, today announced that Kevin Boyce was named Private Company CFO of the Year at the 20th Annual Greater Washington Technology CFO Awards, hosted by the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC). The CFO Awards recognize local chief financial officers and financiers for outstanding achievement and excellence in promoting the area's technology community.

As Ellucian’s COO and CFO, Boyce is responsible for leading the company in operational excellence. He oversees the Global Services and Customer Success teams as well as Ellucian’s global operations in finance, accounting, tax, treasury, legal, and information technology. He also plays a senior role in its strategic growth initiatives. Boyce joined Ellucian in 2007 as CFO, and took on the additional role of COO in September 2015. In 2010, the Northern Virginia Technology Council named Boyce Private Company CFO of the Year and in 2015 he was also named a Trending 40: Top Tech CFO by Bisnow.

Boyce joins David Keffer of CSRA, Pat McCoy of ScienceLogic and Harry Weller of NEA as the winners of the 20th Annual Greater Washington Technology CFO Award, recognized on June 1 during a ceremony held at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner in McLean, Va.
