(GTRI), an award-winning IT consulting services firm, today announced that CEO Greg Byles has been appointed chair of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado (BBBSC) Board Governance Committee. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado was recently recognized by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and named the 2016 Large Nonprofit Agency of the Year.
Byles has been a senior board member and a Big Brothers Big Sisters Ambassador for five years. Byles is currently serving his second term as a member of the Board of Directors and also serves on a subcommittee of the board that is revamping the Case For Support – a philanthropic investment prospectus that tells prospective donors what BBBSC hopes to accomplish with their philanthropic gifts. In his new role as chair of the governance committee, Byles will work directly with the Board of Directors in matters pertaining to board recruitment, nominations, orientation, training and evaluation.

Byles is part of a select group of individuals who represent BBBSC for local radio and television interviews, public speaking engagements and fundraising events throughout the year.
