CRANSTON, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--It’s been a long time since Karl J. Guggenmos first started his apprenticeship as cook and waiter in his native Germany. Now the Senior Advisor of Snapchef, and Dean Emeritus of Johnson & Wales University, has unveiled an elite culinary business venture, Culinary Solutions International. Based in Rhode Island, Culinary Solutions International (CSI) specializes in development of culinary concepts from kitchen design to culinary medicine, education, and travel experiences for domestic and international culinary institutions.
Culinary Solutions International was launched to meet the growing global market demand for culinary training programs and culinary space/concept development. The firm will be serving clients across the United States and in foreign countries. The firm’s industry expertise and culinary relationships were born out of 20 years of industry experiences and 26 years at Johnson & Wales University. This combined experience will be a cornerstone of Culinary Solutions International services.
“Culinary Solutions International will be the keystone of my more than fifty years of experience in the culinary industry. I look forward to working with client partners around the world to build training/educational programs, facilities, and concepts that have a great impact,” said Karl Guggenmos, CSI President.
Culinary Solutions International already has built corporate partnerships highlighted by Snapchef. Snapchef the largest culinary staffing and training company in New England will serve as a strategic alliance. Chef Guggenmos is currently a senior advisor to Snapchef.
“Culinary Solutions International will fill an unmet need in providing high level chef and kitchen design consulting to multi-faceted institutions. Chef Guggenmos is world-renowned for his pioneering work with the Goldring Center of Culinary Medicine at Tulane University as well as global culinary workforce development. Snapchef is fortunate to have the opportunity to partner with his new firm,” said Todd Snopkowski, CEO, Snapchef.
With experience and success in the culinary field, it doesn’t seem like there would be much left to accomplish; Guggenmos disagrees. The goal of CSI is take the knowledge he has accumulated and disperse it among institutions seeking to become more established and proficient. Whether that knowledge takes the form of an improved kitchen design, the perfection of a recipe, or the development of a training/educational programs and concepts, CSI is excited to partner with establishments to increase performance and see the subsequent growth.
