Scottrade Financial Services Offers Mobile Check Deposit for Easy Account Access

Bank and brokerage simplifying account access for Scottrade retail clients

ST. LOUIS--()--Scottrade Financial Services will begin rolling out its mobile check deposit solution to simplify how clients add funds to either their Scottrade brokerage or Scottrade Bank accounts.

With mobile check deposit, clients can now deposit checks with their smartphone or tablet, giving them the convenience of accessing funds anytime, anywhere using an iOS or AndroidTM device.

“We’re focused on delivering products and services that will help our clients achieve financial success,” said Peter deSilva, president of Scottrade brokerage. “Mobile check deposit gives clients another way to manage their accounts in the way that works best for them.”

Mobile check deposit allows clients to snap a photo of their endorsed check and securely upload it through the Scottrade® Mobile App and deposit in either their brokerage or bank account, removing the hassle of depositing checks through the mail or in person.

In addition, Scottrade Bank recently rolled out Apple Pay® to its personal banking clients with a Scottrade Bank debit card, providing an easy, secure and private payment system using their Apple devices.

Apple Pay is compatible with the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus, the Apple Watch paired with the iPhone 5 or later and iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 4 and iPad Mini 3.
