Tegile’s Kristy Morris Named to 2016 CRN Women of the Channel List

Recognition marks second year in a row that a Tegile executive is showcased on prestigious list of channel-focused females

NEWARK, Calif.--()--Tegile Systems, the leading provider of flash-driven storage arrays for databases, virtualized server and virtual desktop environments, today announced that Kristy Morris, vice president of demand generation, has been named to CRN’s highly-regarded list of 2016 Women of the Channel. This group of women is recognized for their outstanding leadership, vision and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.

The women on the 2016 Women of the Channel list span the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Morris is recognized for her dedication and expertise in connecting customers with best-in-class products and services that suit their IT infrastructure needs. This announcement comes on the heels of Charles Bass, Tegile’s vice president of channel sales, earning recognition as a 2016 CRN Channel Chief and Tegile being awarded a 5-star rating in CRN’s Partner Program Guide for the fourth consecutive year.

“Our channel team, which Kristy is an integral part of, is committed to keeping our partners happy by connecting them with the optimal products for their businesses,” said David Bangs, senior vice president of sales at Tegile. “Having Tegile executives honored on CRN’s Women of the Channel list for two years in a row reflects our company’s true commitment to investing in the top talent to grow and support our channel ecosystem.”

Morris has over 20 years of channel marketing experience and started working at Tegile in 2015. As vice president of demand generation, Morris oversees channel-focused marketing programs to drive awareness of Tegile’s offerings. Moving forward, she would like to simplify Tegile’s go-to-market strategy to engage and enable channel partners to easily leverage the company’s resources.

“These executives have made a lasting mark on our industry — growing and elevating partner programs, leading transitions to new business models and introducing cutting-edge go-to-market strategies, among other remarkable achievements,” said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “We congratulate all the 2016 Women of the Channel recipients and celebrate their singular contributions to the advancement of the channel ecosystem.”

The 2016 Women of the Channel list will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/wotc2016. To learn more about Tegile’s partner ecosystem, visit: https://partners.tegile.com
