WILLIAMS-SONOMA ANNOUNCES CHEFS’ COLLECTIVE DINNER SERIES

THREE-CITY TOUR PRESENTED BY VISA

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Williams-Sonoma announces a three-city dinner series presented by Visa featuring members of the Williams-Sonoma Chefs’ Collective. Established in 2015, the Williams-Sonoma Chefs’ Collective is a group of leading American chefs and bar experts who serve as an advisory board to the brand, offering culinary insights, product testing and development, testimonials, content and new recipes. Visa cardholders are exclusively invited to purchase tickets to attend the dinners that will take place at Chef Matthew Jenning’s Townsman in Boston, Chef Thomas McNaughton’s Café Du Nord in San Francisco and Chef Michael Toscano’s Le Farfalle in Charleston during the months of May and June. Each featured chef has created a special tasting menu, including wine pairings and a signature cocktail for $65. Guests who attend the dinners are encouraged to share their experiences on social media using #WSChefs.

ABOUT: Townsman is a brasserie-inspired restaurant that focuses on seasonal, American fare. Executive Chef and Owner Matthew Jennings is a New England native who attended the New England Culinary Institute, which is reflected in Townsman’s menu that celebrates local ingredients from the Northeast region. Jennings was nominated for the James Beard Best Chef Northeast Award and featured in Food & Wine’s “Inspiring Food Personalities 40 and Under.”

WHAT: Dinner with Chef Thomas McNaughton & The Bon Vivants
WHEN: Thursday, June 2nd at 6:30pm
WHERE: Café Du Nord, 2174 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94114
ABOUT: Chef Thomas McNaughton reopened this historic restaurant in 2015, which was originally established in 1907, with a goal of offering San Franciscans “good food, good drinks and a good time.” McNaughton is a partner at the Ne Timeas Restaurant Group, which includes San Francisco-based establishments, Aatxe, as well as, flour + water, central kitchen, salumeria, and Café Du Nord, where he serves at the Executive Chef. He has been nominated as Rising Star Chef by the James Beard Foundation and Forbes featured him in “30 Under 30: Food and Wine.” Chef McNaughton will be joined by The Bon Vivants, Josh Harris and Scott Baird, who will be preparing a signature cocktail for the event. The Bon Vivants are the premier cocktail, hospitality, and design firm behind San Francisco hot spots like Trick Dog and Aatxe.

ABOUT: Chef Michael Toscano was the executive chef behind New York’s award-winning restaurants: Perla, Montmartre and Jeffrey’s Grocery. In early 2016 he and his family relocated to Charleston to open La Farfalle, serving Italian fare in Harleston Village. Toscano is a James Beard semi-finalist and was recognized in Zagat’s “30 Under 30.”
