Ascend Performance Materials Returns to Chinaplas 2016 to Showcase Vydyne® Nylon Portfolio

HOUSTON--()--Ascend Performance Materials, one of the world’s largest fully-integrated producers of polyamide 6,6 opened its exhibit today at Chinaplas 2016. The company's Vydyne® PA66 material is recognized for its superior performance in automotive components, consumer goods, industrial products, cable ties and fasteners, textile goods and electrical and electronic components. Vydyne® PA66 fiber products are widely used in air bags and tire cord.

Under the theme “inspiring everyday,” the company will highlight its material solutions including new Vydyne® PA66 glass reinforced (15-35%) grades for automotive and electrical and electronic components; a new Vydyne® PA66 non-halogenated unreinforced flame retardant grade; and hydrolysis-resistant Vydyne® PA66 grades for automotive cooling system applications. The company also will display solutions used in cable ties and fasteners, food packaging and consumer apparel.
