CloudBees Jenkins Platform - Private SaaS Edition Certified and Available for Red Hat OpenStack Platform

AUSTIN, Texas--()--OPENSTACK SUMMIT-- CloudBees, the enterprise Jenkins company and continuous delivery (CD) leader, today announced that they have collaborated with Red Hat to achieve Red Hat OpenStack certification for the CloudBees Jenkins Platform - Private SaaS Edition. CloudBees is the first continuous delivery and DevOps platform to be certified on Red Hat OpenStack. The certification offers confidence that Private SaaS Edition has been tested and certified for use with Red Hat OpenStack Platform to provide consistent performance and compatibility.

The CloudBees Jenkins Platform - Private SaaS Edition provides cloud-native capabilities. Private SaaS Edition provides enterprises the ability to centrally-manage a Jenkins-powered Continuous Delivery as a Service with all the advantages of a cloud-based solution: elasticity, scalability and built-in failover resiliency. With Private SaaS Edition, enterprises can provision and deploy Jenkins in minutes on Red Hat OpenStack Platform, and software delivery teams can spin up and use Jenkins in a self-service fashion. With instant access to Jenkins resources as needed, teams are unencumbered waiting for resources to be secured, eliminating wasted time and speeding up software delivery.

“Enterprise demand for Jenkins-based, on-premise shared services guided our development of Private SaaS Edition,” said Harpreet Singh, vice president of products, CloudBees. “Private SaaS Edition gives enterprises the ability to run an internally-managed Jenkins as a Service on the Red Hat OpenStack Platform. With CloudBees and Red Hat, IT teams gain the ability to provision and deploy Jenkins in minutes and scale resources up and down, as needed. Accelerating software delivery just got a whole lot easier.”

Red Hat is a leader in the upstream OpenStack community and also in its work to deliver a production-ready OpenStack offering to customers around the world. Red Hat OpenStack Platform is a highly scalable Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solution that delivers an open, flexible and enterprise-ready private cloud foundation built on the community OpenStack project integrated with and optimized for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

“We’re pleased to have CloudBees join us in the Red Hat Connect for Technology Partner Program,” said Mike Werner, senior director, Global Technology Ecosystems, Red Hat. “To help customers get the most out of Red Hat’s OpenStack offerings and our open hybrid cloud solutions, we work closely with technology companies like CloudBees that provide powerful and complementary solutions. We look forward to continued collaboration with CloudBees as an important member of Red Hat’s OpenStack ecosystem.”

The Red Hat Connect for Technology Partner Program is designed for commercial organizations that offer plugins, hardware, software or services for customers to implement cloud infrastructure solutions powered by Red Hat products built on OpenStack technology. The program offers partners an opportunity to gain the necessary expertise with Red Hat’s OpenStack technology through access to Red Hat releases and developer support, as well as key resources needed to test, certify and publish solutions that make use of Red Hat’s OpenStack offerings. Red Hat's OpenStack ecosystem includes industry-leaders, ranging from independent hardware vendors (IHVs) and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners, to independent software vendors (ISVs) and system integrators who have joined the program to provide certified solutions and launch their own OpenStack practices to support customer deployments.

Solutions that have achieved Red Hat OpenStack Certification, or which are certified for other products in Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud portfolio, are available in the Red Hat Marketplace.
