NEW YORK--()--LittleThings, the leading lifestyle destination for inspiring, uplifting, and engaging content, today announced the formation of a new direct advertising sales team consisting of six new hires, including Chris McLoughlin, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing.

McLoughlin joins LittleThings from Undertone, where he served as Vice President of Sales. During his tenure, McLoughlin led a team of 30 professionals across New York, Boston, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C., developing and executing corporate strategy across the business. As a result, in 2015, Undertone experienced a 140 percent growth in proprietary high-impact revenue and the successful integration of two corporate acquisitions.

Prior to Undertone, McLoughlin worked extensively in integrated publishing, leading digital and print ad sales teams for such standout brands as Rolling Stone, Men’s Journal, Redbook, Golf Digest, and Sports Illustrated.

Most notably, during his time at Wenner Media, McLoughlin was responsible for several large-scale sponsored content deals with advertisers including Porsche, Land Rover, L.L. Bean, and StubHub. He also led the successful relaunch of both mensjournal.com and rollingstone.com along with the launch of the RS Country, a new site dedicated to country music. In addition, McLoughlin created the MJ Gear Lab, a new editorial and brand franchise with extensions in retail, newsstand, and advertiser activation. McLoughlin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Composition and American History from DePauw University.

Joining McLoughlin at LittleThings are integrated sales veterans Maureen Mooney, Mary Gallagher, Brenda Kras, Kate Chapman, and Kate Calabrese. Rounding out the team is Andrea Rothchild, who has been with LittleThings since 2014.

Maureen Mooney has spent over 20 years of her career in media, most recently as the Associate Publisher at MORE magazine. Prior to that, she led the sales team at O, The Oprah Magazine for 13 years in various roles, including Associate Publisher. She has also worked as an Account Director at Better Homes and Gardens and Scholastic Parent & Child. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Politics from Fairfield University.

Mary Gallagher has spent the majority of her 20-plus-year career at Time Inc., where she was responsible for financial reporting, sales development, and marketing before starting in sales at People magazine. Most recently, she was an Integrated Account Director at Coastal Living and Sunset brands. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Boston University.

Brenda Kras has spent more than 25 years in the media industry and is LittleThings’ first employee outside of New York City, opening the Chicago office. Kras joins LittleThings from Monster.com, where she spent two years. Her career has included sales roles at Ladies’ Home Journal, Modern Bride, Elegant Bride, Hachette Home Group, Premiere magazine, and House Beautiful. She started her career in advertising as a media planner at Leo Burnett. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications/Media Studies from Miami University (in Ohio).

Kate Chapman is a seasoned sales executive with more than 15 years of integrated multimedia experience. Chapman was a Senior Integrated Account Director at USA TODAY/Gannett. Before joining USA TODAY, she was a Global Account Executive at The Wall Street Journal. Chapman began her career at Time Inc., helping to launch the successful Coastal Living franchise. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Colgate University.

Kate Calabrese has more than eight years of digital media experience. She recently worked at Everyday Health, where she worked in digital sales with a concentration in retail, parenting, and food verticals. Prior to Everyday Health, Calabrese worked at Parade Media Group. She started her career at Intermark Media. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Ithaca College.

The team joins Andrea Rothchild, who has over 20 years of media experience and has served as the Director of Revenue for LittleThings since October 2014. Prior to LittleThings, Rothchild was at Newsday Media Group, where she served as the Vice President Interactive and Classified Advertising and was responsible for revenue exceeding $45 million annually. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Syracuse University.
