It’s time to honor and celebrate those that have gone above and beyond the level of excellence in the field of communications/public relations. The BPRS-LA 3rd Annual Pat Tobin PR Excellence Awards produced by the Los Angeles chapter of Black Public Relations Society (BPRS) will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 6pm at the Sofitel in Beverly Hills. Hosted by entertainment journalist, pop culture specialist and producer Tanika Ray, the evening will be one to remember.

Communications professionals will come together to honor four senior communications executives. Honorees include: Monica Bouldin, executive vice president of Hill + Knowlton Strategies; Anna Fuson, founder and CEO of Red Sea Entertainment; Arnold Robinson, vice president, Rogers & Cowan; and Allison Queen, founder of Queen Publicity.

“Our honorees each exemplify professional excellence in their careers and we are proud to salute them,” said Shawn Smith Turner, president of BPRS-LA. “They are a showcase of dynamic communications talent and we look to them as shining examples as we champion greater diversity throughout the industry.”

The BPRS-LA Pat Tobin PR Excellence Awards was created to recognize communications executives who have made an impact on the industry. Named after the late public relations pioneer and co-founder of the National Black Public Relations Society (NBPRS), Pat Tobin, the Awards shines a light on career achievements of professionals who continue Tobin’s legacy through their tireless work and dedication to shaping a positive narrative for the global brands and clients they represent.

Past attendees have included celebrities, media, and studio executives making this annual event the industry highlight of the year and this year will be no exception.
