(NASDAQ:SBCP), the parent company of Sunshine Bank, announced that on March 30, 2016 it issued $11 million of subordinated notes to selected accredited investors. The notes will mature on April 1, 2021, and bear interest at a fixed rate of 5.0% per year. Additionally, the Company may prepay the notes at any time. The Company intends to use the additional capital to support ongoing organic and strategic growth opportunities.
