Announced at the Google Partner Conference on Friday March 11th, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Texthelp was awarded the ‘Technology Partner of the Year Award’ in the Devices Category (2015).
Presented by Bryan Lee, Head of Business Development for Android and Chrome for Work and Education from Google, the award recognizes the significant growth of Texthelp’s world leading ‘Read&Write’ product. Awarded retrospectively for its growth over 2015, the ‘Read&Write for Google Chrome’ product grew exponentially over that short time period from approximately 1 million to 4 million users. The easy-to-use extension for Google Chrome makes the web and files in Google Drive accessible to anyone who needs support with their reading and writing, including students with learning difficulties, dyslexia or ELL/ESL. Students can hear highlighted words, phrases or whole documents read aloud naturally, as well as benefit from a number of other reading and writing tools.
