OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A.M. Best has released its criteria procedure for the U.S. Property/Casualty (P/C) Best’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (BCAR) and its updated Best’s Credit Rating Methodology for comment on Thursday, March 10.
Executives from A.M. Best will review forthcoming, “Revisions to Best’s Credit Rating Methodology,” in an online webinar presentation set for Friday, March 18 at 11 a.m. (EDT).

Topics to be covered include planned changes to the Best’s Credit Rating Methodology and the application of the new BCAR, A.M. Best’s capital model, within the overall methodology. Changes to the methodology and BCAR are expected to take effect in early 2017.
