Solution Is the Only Online Time Card Designed Specifically for The Crew Manager, The Crew and Smartphone Users

BOISE, Idaho--()--TSheets, a leading cloud-based time tracking technology company, announced today the Crew App, an online time card for construction crews that allows supervisors to easily group employees into crews, efficiently move a crew to a different project or job code and clock an individual or an entire crew in or out. The Crew App eliminates the hassle of handling illegible or inaccurate manual employee time cards, tracking time and switching employees to different projects manually as well as keeping track of employees on break and those who left early.

  • GPS Powered Time Cards: GPS location points are attached to employee timesheets when supervisors clock in their crews, in real time. When the crew is clocked out, GPS tracking is turned off. This type of communication between the office manager and the employees translates to reduced overtime costs, increased workplace productivity and payroll savings. We estimate that knowing where employees and crews are working improves payroll and job costing accuracy tenfold.
  • Employee Permissions: Supervisors or managers can activate access permissions in the company’s TSheets Web Dashboard. Permission levels can be customized for each supervisor or employee. These safety measures guarantee that only employees given specific permission to manage others can clock others in and out—and only managers can create and edit manual time cards for their crews to remain DCAA compliant.
  • Offline Time Tracking for Crews: The Crew App is ready to go wherever work may lead—regardless of whether or not employees are in range of cell phone service signal. A supervisor can clock in, clock out, change job codes and add notes using the TSheets Crew App, and the timesheet data will be stored offline on the supervisor’s device. Once back in service, the time card data for the crew immediately syncs and is automatically sent back to the office for payroll and invoicing.
  • Crew time tracking from Android and iOS mobile devices: TSheets takes time tracking to the next level for Android users, delivering individual and crew time tracking capabilities all in one place. Using TSheets Android app, a supervisor can clock in or out an entire crew (or individually as needed), view the crews they manage throughout the day, review day and task totals, what project and location each member is clocked into, and more. Likewise, supervisors can easily manage time cards for entire crews from their iOS devices, delivering accurate, down-to-the second accuracy, GPS location points, and more with a few simple touches to their iPhone or iPad. Supervisors can view employee and crew hours for the day, switch employees to different projects for accurate job costing, and add project notes as needed.
