BARCELONA, Spain--()--Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: DLB) and Lenovo (HKSE: 922) today announced the launch of the new Lenovo® TAB3 series tablets, including the Lenovo TAB3 7, the Lenovo TAB3 8, and the Lenovo TAB3 10 Business with Dolby Atmos® sound. With the addition of these devices to the Dolby Atmos portfolio, Lenovo now has more than 10 Dolby Atmos enabled devices in market.

“We are excited to further enrich Lenovo’s Dolby Atmos mobile device offerings with the launch of the Lenovo TAB3 series products,” said Jeff Meredith, Vice President and General Manager, Tablets, Mobile Business Group, Lenovo. “Dolby Atmos sound has been a key differentiator of the Lenovo tablets through the past year. We look forward to delivering the amazing moving audio experience to more consumers with the new Lenovo TAB3 series.”

Dolby Atmos transforms the mobile entertainment experience over headphones and built-in speakers with moving audio that flows above and around the user. Customers are already raving about the first wave of Dolby Atmos-enabled Lenovo products with the Lenovo TAB2 A10-70 commanding a 4.3/5 rating on Amazon and a 4.5/5 rating on BestBuy.com. With the Lenovo TAB3 series tablets, consumers can also expect to hear breathtaking moving audio, from both headphones and built-in speakers, which flows all around them to create a powerfully moving entertainment experience.

Lenovo specifically designed the TAB3 8 and 7 for the entire family—supporting multi-user modes. The TAB3 8 and 7 models introduce a dedicated kid’s mode and kid-friendly features such as adaptive display, making them suitable for children and everyone else in the family. The TAB3 10 Business is engineered as the company-ready, employee-friendly choice, pairing the power and versatility of Android 6.0 with the optimization and services that matter most to business.

“The launch of the Lenovo TAB3 series devices with Dolby Atmos has further strengthened the growing momentum of Dolby Atmos in the mobile world,” said John Couling, Senior Vice President, E-Media Business Group, Dolby Laboratories. “We will continue to innovate together with Lenovo to enhance immersive mobile entertainment experiences for consumers around the world.”

The Lenovo TAB3 series products are expected to be available starting June 2016 at all Lenovo Retail Partners. Please visit www.lenovo.com for more information about these devices.
