Allianz Life Brand and Marketing Services Honored with More Than 45 Creative Marketing Awards

Team recognized for creative excellence in Marketing; Named Agency of the Year Finalist

MINNEAPOLIS--()--Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life®) today announced its in-house Brand and Marketing Services Department won more than 45 awards for creativity by various industry associations in 2015. Creative excellence was recognized in various competitions including: In-House Agency Forum (IHAF) Awards, the American Inhouse Design Awards, the Telly Awards, and the Insurance and Financial Communications Association (IFCA) Awards. Awards were received for excellence in online video, creative writing, print, outstanding art direction, and overall marketing quality.

The Allianz Life Brand and Marketing Services Department earned a record-breaking 46 awards in 2015. Awards represent marketing projects in sales, advanced markets and corporate communications for Allianz Life and Questar Capital Corporation, a subsidiary of Allianz Life. Awards include:

The 2015 In-House Agency Forum (IHAF) Awards – These awards recognize creative excellence among in-house agencies across a host of print and digital categories, in a variety of industries. The competition honored Allianz Life with the Finalist for Agency of the Year Award (one of three finalists) and four additional awards for projects that supported product marketing, recruiting and the Allianz LoveFamilyMoney Study collaboration.

The American Inhouse Design Awards – Graphic Design USA evaluates submissions for creativity, overcoming special challenges faced by the designer, and contributions to businesses and institutions overall. Allianz Life received 12 awards for projects including:

  • Allianz 222® Annuity sales video,
  • Allianz LoveFamilyMoney Study overview booklet, and
  • Preferred recruiting marketing collateral.

The 2015 Telly Awards – The Telly Awards showcase the best work of advertising agencies, production companies, television stations and corporate video departments. The 2015 Annual Telly Awards received more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and many foreign countries. Allianz Life was recognized with four Online Video Bronze Awards and a Silver Commercial Video Award for “Put the Ahhh in retirement” – a series of four television spots.

The 2015 Insurance and Financial Communications Association (IFCA) Awards Competition – The IFCA annual awards competition evaluates thousands of entries from association members throughout the United States and Canada. Award selection is based on five criteria: concept, writing, art direction, overall execution and effectiveness. Allianz Life was recognized with 14 awards including:

  • Two Best-of-Show awards – For the deferred compensation mailer and the “Life summertime lull” promotion kit.
  • Six Awards of Excellence – For projects including calendars, product and recruitment kits, and client story videos.
  • Six Honorable Mentions – For projects including product videos, online videos, and mailers.

The Allianz Life Brand and Marketing Services Department is responsible for the brand, advertising, media and creative approach for all marketing materials. The team creates marketing collateral used by financial professionals as well as advertising and communications that reinforce the brand.
