AEREON Announces New Chief Operating Officer

AUSTIN, Texas--()--AEREON, a global supplier of environmentally-compliant gas and vapor combustion and recovery equipment, today announced the appointment of Romer Bracho as Chief Operating Officer, a new position at the company.

Bracho, a mechanical engineer graduate from La Universidad del Zulia, Maracaibo, Venezuela with a Master of Science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Houston, has 24 years’ experience in quality assurance, sales and field operations, new product development, manufacturing and supply chain in a leadership capacity, and most recently was Eastern Hemisphere Manufacturing Director for Halliburton.

In 2011, Bracho joined Halliburton as Eastern Hemisphere Manufacturing Director to focus on the startup of their new global flagship Technology and Manufacturing located in Singapore. This project entailed the intercompany relocation of more than 200 existing employees, recruitment of over 300 new employees, as well as the installation of new and existing plant equipment, and aggressive ramp-up of new product lines.

Prior to that, Bracho joined Tejas Completions Solutions in 2008 as their Sr. VP of Manufacturing and Chief Operating Officer. He focused his efforts on broadening the company products and services offering and through strategic acquisitions and organic growth, Tejas increased revenue and headcount over threefold in a two-year period. He also worked at Schlumberger starting in 1993 as Manufacturing Center Manager and various other positions around the world. He began his career at PDVSA (National Oil Company) in 1990 as a mechanical design engineer.
