MIAMI--()--Ronald DeMeo, MD, CEO of Radiation Shield Technologies, today announced the company has been granted several new Canadian patents and several other international patents that further safeguard RST’s intellectual property and its ability to manufacture, market and sell its proprietary Demron personal-protection gear. Demron is the world’s only fabric that protects against chemical, biological, ballistic, and radiological threats as well as heat stress.

Demron consists of an advanced radiopaque nanopolymeric compound fused between layers of fabric, used to manufacture the personal-protection gear.
