Open Love Letter to “The Bachelor” Ben Higgins – We’ve Got a Proposal for You

Hampton by Hilton Invites “The Bachelor’s” Ben Higgins on a Year of Weekend Adventures

MCLEAN, Va.--()--Hampton by Hilton felt the love from ABC’s “The Bachelor” Ben Higgins, following this week’s interview with Ellen DeGeneres, in which he declared his love for the simple life, including a good ole’ Hampton by Hilton stay.

“The luxury of it is fun,” he told DeGeneres about his experience traveling on the show. “I’ve seen some crazy places last year. I’ve flown in helicopters as you’ve seen, I’ve been in hot tubs in the middle of nowhere. I think you realize that the simple life – just the Hampton Inn – is sometimes just as fun as the luxury,” said Higgins.

The Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) hotel brand is accepting the “rose” with a special proposal for “The Bachelor”: a room at any of Hampton by Hilton’s 2,000 hotels for every single weekend in 2016 – hopefully to share with his future love interest from the show. Higgins also notes in his interview, it’s not the luxury “it’s about the relationship.”

“Travel is a wonderful way to enjoy the simple pleasures in life and celebrate relationships along the way,” said Judy Christa-Cathey, vice president, focused service brand marketing and Hampton by Hilton. “We hope Ben will accept our proposal to become a Hampton Seekender — fun-loving travelers who seize their weekends for quick get-aways like a trip to watch their favorite band perform or to hang out with old friends.”

Christa-Cathey adds, “Oh, and Ellen, if you do ever want to start that TV show where travelers are dropped off at random Hampton locations across the world, give us a call!”

“Ben, you’ve captured our hearts. If you’re ready to accept our 'rose,' tweet us @HamptonbyHilton with the hashtag #WeGoTogether. Just say YES!,” said Judy Christa-Cathey.
