Pharmaceutical Strategies Group Hires Dr. Ritu Malhotra as Senior Vice President of Pharmacy Benefits Consulting Group

PLANO, Texas--()--Pharmaceutical Strategies Group (PSG), the nation’s largest independent pharmacy benefit and strategic consulting firm, has hired Dr. Ritu Malhotra as Senior Vice President of Pharmacy Benefits Consulting.

Malhotra, who has more than a decade of experience in the industry, will oversee the company’s fast-growing Pharmacy Benefits Consulting group.

Malhotra has clinical expertise in multiple managed-care settings and with assisting clients in vendor selection, implementation, contract negotiations and clinical program development. She also has extensive experience with the managed-care industry, including hospital-sponsored health plans, pharmacy benefit management, Medicaid health plans and employee benefits consulting.

Before joining PSG in December, Malhotra spent seven years at Segal Consulting, most recently serving as National Pharmacy Benefits Practice Leader. She also spent four years as a pharmacy benefit consultant for Hewitt Associates.

Malhotra earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Penn.
